Philippe De Gobert

A Belgian artist and visual artist born in 1946 in Brussels, Philippe De Gobert has developed a distinctive body of work that straddles the boundaries between sculpture,
architecture and photography. His work is based on a meticulous two-stage process: first, he builds small-scale models of artists' studios or architectural spaces from scratch,
which he then photographs using carefully controlled lighting and with extremely precise framing.
